Lumiere: The Art of Light is an annual light exhibition at Trillium Park in Toronto. The exhibition will showcase artworks on this year’s theme - Rhythms of Light: Motion, Sound, and Time – and I am contributing a new work with the concept sketch pictured here. Portal is conceived as a looking glass rendered large, with cylindrical lens used to slow light down, to refract, reflect and bend light, and offer alternating views of light and color throughout the day and night.
